Okay. So today is both my birthday and the coldest day of the year since like February. I live in North Dakota (that's just south of Canada and north of South Dakota and west of Minnesota and East of Montana, for those of you who are wondering, because I know you're out there) and today is supposed to get to 47 degrees Farenheit. I think it should be illegal for anyone sane to live in the state of ND. Or maybe none of us are sane. *evil grin* I wanted to wear this really cute skirt that I got and wear a equally cute shirt, but NO WAY in HELL will I freeze my freaking derriere off. I decided on a cute pair of pants and an equally cute shirt with a blue hooded sweatshirt over them. On the bus to school today I was all curled up in my sweatshirt and the bus driver thought I was insane. I'm in the college computer lab and I swear it is just as cold in here as it is outside.
I work at Burger King, home of the Whopper or Whooper (which ever you feel like calling it). I must say that it SUCKS. There is this girl who works there and she is the biggest freak in the world. Here's an excerpt of an email to one of my friends about her:
"Heidi has this weird dependancy on the calculator at drive-thru, so I hid
the one that was over there (put it behind the till) and Kim hid the other
two in the office in the top file cabinet drawer. Heidi went to use it and
she couldn't find it and she went in the office and was asking Kim if
there was another one and Kim looked in the drawer that they are normally
in and they weren't there (of course) and Heidi started to CRY!!! Yes, I
said CRY!!!! She was blubbering something about how she "was goiinna get
fiiiirr-r-r-r-r-ed! Why does every one hate meeeeeee?? What am I
goiinnnaaa doooooooo???" Try getting a life, loser?? God, she's so dumb.
Then I was talking to Lacy and Bobby and she butts into our conversation
with some tidbit from her stupid life and we both just stared at her.
Tense silence ensued for about 1 minute. We just blankly stared and she
grinned like the loser she is. Then I look at Lacy and Bobby and say
"anyway...." and we laughed. She went stomping off. I looked at them and
we continued our conversation. Later when I went back out she's like
(*high pitched nasal voice*) "don't forget to mop the bathrooms too
please??" I flipped. I'm like "what the hell? Do you think I don't know
how to do my job??? I've been here for the last 7 months. I think I know a
little bit more than you do. You haven't even been here a month and
already no body likes you. Even my friends can't stand you. Never, EVER
tell me how to do my job again. I mean it...... Oh, and customers are NOT
to be glared at, you got me?? Those may have been my friends but they are
still customers. They get treated with the same f-ing respect that you
treat the old people that come in for coffee every day. You treat the
customers at night the same way you treat the customers when Sue and
Jackie are around." She sat there and said that she wasn't glaring at us.
"I wasn't even looking at you guys!" I said that I saw her and she was
like "nuh-uh!" I finally just said "Whatever." And as I walked away I
muttered under my breath, "Retarded f-ing whore." She's so DUMB!!! It
makes me sick that someone can have everyone working with her hate her in
so short of a time. Ashley used to like her, but yesterday she said
something about her being dumb and I said "but I thought you liked her?"
She's like yeah, USED to. Only because she got Eddy out of here (she was
mad at Eddy because he was trying to get with her and was doing crap with
Lacy, the gay one), and because he kind of scared her with getting on too
strong. So now NOBODY can stand her. Not me, kim, lacy, tasha, courtney,
brian, bobby, steven, nick, jackie, sue, corey, kaydee, and I can't think
of the rest."
